Celebrating
Our Legacy
The Delmati tribe, an ancient people known for their fearlessness and resistance to Roman expansion, have left an indelible mark on history. Through their perseverance and courage, they managed to withstand Roman forces for over a century. As an enduring symbol of resistance and the identity of the Delmati people, this part of the Adriatic bears its name, Dalmatia, in their honor. Inspired by history as well as the spirit of resistance and dedication, Delmati Winery is committed to preserving and promoting the authentic Dalmatian tradition.
Historic Vineyards
Jezero
Wine Region
By revitalizing historic vineyards in the significant Dalmatian wine region, Jezero karst field, we have taken care of the heritage of this area. Spanning over 200 hectares, our estate vineyards are meticulously segmented into smaller plots, with the oldest among them boasting an age of up to 60 years.
Komarna
Wine Region
Our winery’s new 8 hectares of vineyards are nestled on the steep slopes of the Komarna wine region, Croatia’s youngest wine region. Indigenous varieties such as Pošip, Plavac Mali, and Babić, which thrive here, enable us to showcase the rich diversity of the Dalmatian terroir.

Powerful Expression
The lifelines of our vineyards are the Matica stream and the Neretva River.
The average age of our vineyards ranges from 30 to 60 years.
Choosing concrete tanks for aging allows for a pure expression of the grape.
THE WINE GENOME
Dalmatian Wine Heritage is not only a story of grapes and wine; it is a narrative about a community gathering to celebrate life, love, and the joy we associate with each glass of wine. Every bottle of wine is an invitation to become part of the family.
Commitment
to the Land
Vineyards, deeply rooted in the heart of Dalmatia, reflect a profound connection with nature, soil and the people around us. Patience, attentiveness, and monitoring natural changes are the hallmarks of each new year in the vineyards where it all begins.
